If you’ve been following this blog, by now,I’m sure you have digested the Writing Solutions For Netrepreneurs series 1,2,3,&4 (- click on the associated number to read that particular one). It spells out phenominal techniques for coming up with great content to share with your readers. Study those posts as if your life depended on it…because actually, your internet marketing life does depend on it.
If you think you’ll succeed in this business without having to write interesting content you might as well pack it up. Whether it’s blog posts, articles, sales letters, press releases,or ads you MUST develop your writing skills. I know you’ve probably heard you can hire/rent some “ghost writer” and you can if you have the money and if you don’t mind having garbage content floating around in your name. Another thing is the material won’t have any uniqueness or originality to it because it’s not from YOU.
As you begin to develop your writing there will be days when it just flows and there will be days when it seems your tombstone will be engraved with Death by Writers Block.
Again…study the Writing Solutions For Netrepreneurs series…
For now we’ll focus on those days when it all seems to flow like water. On these days write everything that flows from your mind even if you don’t have a place to publish it in yet. It will be extremely useful during the “writers block” times. However if you have WordPress software installed in your site there’s a better solution. Wordpress has a tool called Post Timestamp which allows you to load up how ever many posts you have, yet you can set it to publish live for a future date. So on those “flowing” days simply write all you can as you regularly do when making a post except right before you hit the ‘Publish’ button click the ‘edit timestamp’ option and set the date you want it to go live, then hit ‘Publish’.
That’s it…now you have content pumping out at intervals you set,so when those “stuck” days consume you it won’t matter if you’ve timestamped content to come out. This gives you some breathing room to come up with even more content ![]()

By happenstance, I discovered your blog and this post about 2 minutes after using the WordPress timestamp feature. For me, it’s invaluable. I sometimes travel over periods of several weeks. Maintaining a constant flow of posts to my blog is, of course, essential. Without the timestamp facility, I’d really have a difficult time.
I certainly endorse your recommendation to use this feature — even if you are stuck at home 24/7.
