Using a keyword suggestion tool, figure out the most popular search terms within your chosen niche. This will help you settle on the kind of information that are being looked for by your audience.

2. Do a keyword analysis. Do not try to go for keywords that are highly competitive or those that are being used by millions of marketers.

This will dramatically decrease the chances of your articles being shown on the top 10 search page results. Stick with those that are equally popular but less competitive.

3. Bank on your titles. Kick-start your articles with compelling titles so you can increase your open rate.

Make sure that they are benefit-driven and keyword-rich. It will not hurt if you’ll use words that can suggest action or those phrases or terms that can touch human emotions so you can get internet users to respond quicker. Keep your titles short, concise, and direct to the point.

4. Define your audience. As a provider, it is your responsibility to get to know the people you are serving so you can offer them exactly what they need.

Spend some time on relevant forums and mingle with your potential clients. This is an effective way of identifying their needs, demands, questions, and pressing issues.

5. Talk about your products and services. When choosing the topics to write about, make sure that they are closely related to what you are selling so you can pitch your products at the end of your articles.

If you are selling diet pills, talk about weight gain problems and offer your products as solutions. You do this in your resource box where your reader can go to get more helpful information on the problem or questions they have.
