There’s a big difference between realizing something and actualizing something. Someone who realizes they need to stop smoking rarely gets around to actually doing it. We grow through life learning many different things we realize is in our best interest, yet what stops us from doing it?
Just think about all the other things we have managed to learn along with the ease at which we do it. For instance, you learned how to walk because you kept trying it over and over again and you never gave up! And moreso, you knew deep down within -even before you could verbalize it- that the potential for walking existed inside you. History is filled with examples of people accomplishing all sorts of feats because they instinctively or intuitively knew the potential was there.
If your mind can concieve it you can achieve it…
So if you realize you need to stop smoking you can achieve that by simply repeating the process of NOT smoking. It’s all about developing the habbit and all habits -even the bad ones- were learned through consistent repetition. When your mind is in its more receptive states the repetition process is far more effective for forming new habits. There is a certain state where the conscious mind shuts down and whatever is repeated the subconcious accepts as real so you begin to act according to that ‘realness’.
This is how emotions can cause you to “act without thinking”… how music can “move” you … and also how advanced advertising works. The conscious gets lulled to sleep leaving only the repeated message or command. There are breathing techniques for lulling the conscious mind. Once the conscious is lulled the right picture and/or music repeating the right command over and over for at least 60 days will do the trick of developing a whole new habit. The command is the thing discussed at the beginning of this post that you know you have the potential to do. And here’s a tip,if you realize you need to do something then that means there definitely is potential to achieve it.
Why not take advantage of this process and develop new habits that will improve our current circumstances in life? Here are some current commands that if formed into habits will at least be better for our marketing circumstances:
- Join Other Digg-like Sites: these are the popular ever growing social community sites where you basically write posts about your favorite posts while others in that community vote on it all. Thousands of hungry seekers practically live at these sites searching for information on all sorts of topics and the more votes you get the more traffic you get. Digg isn’t the only game in town.
- Visit More Blogs and Forums: I’ve been consistently getting targeted traffic from leaving comments on other top blogs and giving advice in forums. I merely need to find more blogs and forums to duplicate this method.
- Enjoy Life: always find fun things to do outside of marketing. If you enjoy life as a whole more often when things get rough in the smaller sreas of life -such as internet marketing- it won’t sting as much. Plus, the positive attitude that comes from enjoying life will naturally shine throughout your marketing efforts.

As for the boring part, just yesterday I got an email from John Reese and Jeff Mulligan about software that does the social networking/bookmarking tasks for you…it’s something called TrafficKahuna … its a non-spam monthly membership program that promises a bunch of Diggs, tons of backlinks, and more…
Although the price is over a hundred a month,it has to be worthwhile considering John Reese gave it a thumbs up.

Have you tried this product or a friend perhaps? Did it perform well? I don’t care about the price as long as it worth it buying.
Thanks.

I haven’t tried it yet…but the Web2.0Submitter works well except for the fact that you’ll still need a “group-team” to give you more Diggs and votes which is part of what Kahuna is supposed to do.
The big secret to using the social submission sites such as Digg to get big traffic is that you need a lot of votes. Some marketers actually get as many of their friends and associates to simply vote on all the content they submit while others pay a “team” to do the same thing.
