Marketing Metaphysics 101

If you’re always worried what others think then you’ll only do what they want you to do instead of what you’re actually suppose to do. You will be paralized by the fear of their tongue lashing and by the lower realms of societal eschelon their abasement can put you in….basically scared that your ideals won’t be accepted. But is being accepted really worth it?

Let me scratch the metaphysical surface of this issue by explaining we all start from one cell that duplicates itself growing into the million multi-celled organisms we are today. We grow from and thus,are an extension of one. It’s the same way with people on a social level. We come out of the womb by ourselves and then we meet others one by one. We interact with them for a few moments or a few years exchanging attitudes and ideas. This exchange involves such a mental filtering,sharing, and checks-n-balance process for both parties that the experience becomes an extension for future relations with others. You carry the elemants of that interaction with you wherever you go. It is like a continuous process of growing from One or better put growing through One.

FOCUS NOTE: keep in mind that the other person is going through this same process in their life as well.

Even though we grow through others and their many different perceptions,our beings are still based on unchangeable,immuteable facts or laws such as:

1. The need to eat…
2. The need for knowledge…
3. The need to shit out that which does not help to facilitate our growth – which can sometimes be recycled into something more useful…

These laws force us to interact with others and at the same time reminds us of the likeness/Oneness we all come from. So where’s the individuality…that sense of uniqueness that defines the YOU who must be accepted and respected? That my friend is somewhat of an illusion. The very word individual is composed of ‘dual(Two)’ and indivisible(That which canNOT be divided)…so this renders the definition to be two things which are contained in one yet cannot be divided.

We have a lower nature where the animal instincts reside and a higher nature where the intelligence that guided our cells to grow and multiply resides. The synergy between these two in its many situations of life is what makes you think of yourself as an “individual”. That’s two realities in one physical organism…you can picture it as a fraction1/2. So as a marketer whenever you seek to make a good product you must multiply with another fraction – interact with someone else.

It’s not a need for acceptance…it’s a need to multiply!

Fearing you won’t get accepted or the potential embarassment you might face from getting dissed only divides,thus no product can be made. Now lets see how the basics of multplying fractions are similar ti the three laws above:

• Need to eat = the need for a product/instrument to make a living
• Need for knowledge = to know how many times your numerator can fit into the others denominator and vice versa
• Need to shit = slashing out the numerators and denominators that can no further be equalled out.

What remains is the product. So I say to the whole entire planet of internet marketers out there,stop trying so hard to be accepted and follow the one command which was given since the beginning of time “Be fruitful and multiply!”
