Are you interested in learning how to make some extra money online, but afraid of getting scammed? In this article, I will discuss how to select legitimate work from home companies, that will enable you to start earning online.
Specifically, we will be focusing on free referral based programs. These programs will pay you for taking
surveys, and trying offers, and netter yet, they will pay even more if you refer others to their service to
do the same. To bwgin, I will show you how to eliminate the companies that could potentially scam you in your money earning efforts.

Eliminate bad companies:

1. Once you think you have found a company that could help you earn money online, there are a few initial steps
you can take to verify that it is an upstanding business. First, I wouldrecommend that you perform a search for the company on the Better Business Bureau website. This is a free and quick method you can use to take a look at any complaints that may have been filed against a particular US based company. It is a good unbiased way to determine if a company is legitimate.

2. Run a Google search similar to this: reviews: company name. The reason for this search should be fairly straightforward. It will show you reviews of almost any company that customers or affiliates have written, and posted to the internet. This is useful because an affiliate who has had a good experience with a company will want to tell others about it as a means of gaining referrals. Likewise, people also tend to post
reviews if they have been scammed by a company, as a means of warning others to stay away from the service.

3. When you perform your search for company reviews, there are several things you will want to look for within the results that you find. First, look for any information you can find about the company’s payment history. Do they consistently send on time payments to their affiliates? Do members usually receive credit promptly for all the offers they complete? Before you do a single thing for any online affiliate company, you want to make sure that you will be rewarded for your efforts. You also want to make sure that there is an adequate support system in place for when problems do arise. Many companies have forums where affiliates can talk to one another, and with company moderators to resolve problems and ask questions. Any good review should make mention of the support systems which are in place.

4. Are you in fact eligible for the program? Before getting set up with any money making program, be sure to have a good undestanding of their terms of service. Some companies only offer membership to affiliates
in the US, while other companies restrict membership to those over the age of 18. If you don’t meet the
requirements of the program, you won’t be paid. To avoid this, be sure to know what is expected of members
before doing anything.

Verifying a Program’s Offerings:

1. Once you have a good program, it is time to look at how much money you can make. Make sure the company
is paying a fair amount for each offer based on the time it takes to complete the the offer. Fifty cents might be ok for a five minute offer, but if it takes an hour, it’s probably not worth it.

2. Do you need to earn a minimum amount to get paid? Most companies have a minimum cahshout. It may be $20 if
each offer pays only a small amount of $100 if offers are higher value. Make sure the payout seems fair.
Also, see if it is possible to meet payout with no referrals. Obviously, you will make much more money
referring others, but in my opinion you should still be able to earn some money from a good program even
without referring anyone.

3. Look at any charges you might incur. Ideally, you will find a company that will not charge you to
use their service. However, it is likely that they will have some free offers, and some where you will be asked
to pay a shipping free for a product trial should you decide to do the offer. This is fine, but you should be able to make significant money for free.

Earning from your Referrals

As you will earn much of your money by referring others to a referral based program, a knowledge of the
program’s specifics is essential. How many levels is the program? Are you only paid for your own
referrals, or are you paid for people they send to the service as well? What is the payrate for the
referral program? Make sure you understand these details as they directly influence your earning potential.
