Generating Traffic To Build Your List

Are you building up your list of subscribers? What about getting enough traffic to your sites?

So you answered yes to those questions? I’m hoping you only answered yes to one of them, building your list. Why should you answer no to the ‘getting enough traffic’ question? Well if you think you’re getting enough traffic you must be crazy, you can never have enough traffic going to your sites. The more traffic you have going to your website, then the more sign-ups you’re going to get. This should be obvious.

A lot of people spend a whole lot of time and a whole lot of hard work building their websites, get them online and forget the main thing, driving traffic to their sites, they just don’t promote them. This is going to result in zerp sign-ups, therefore make no money, and just give up.

Traffic generation is without a doubt the most important factor of your internet business. You can have the best looking site and expect to get thousands of sign-ups, but your not going to get any if you are not driving traffic to your site. There are so many ways to drive traffic to your sites, here are a few examples.

Forum and social marketing – Visit Google, run a search of your niche phrase followed by ‘forum’, and you should get a list of search results of forums in that niche. Once you have found some forums, you should start posting some replies to peoples threads, keeping them relevant, and leaving a small ad in your signature directing to your opt-in page. Always check with the forums, terms of use, before doing this as they may not allow it, so proceed with caution.

Blogging – Create a blog and write about the same niche as your website, including links to your website, and you can bookmark your your blog. You can even bookmark your site in some cases.

Articles/Press releases – You could write articles and press releases and submit them to the appropriate sites. This is a great way to get targeted traffic. Just remember to include links back to your site.

Search engines – Submit your site to the top search engines and work on your SEO (Search Engine Optimization), choose the appropriate keywords and make your website keyword rich. Include your main keyword in your title and a couple of times in your opening paragraph, also throughout your website, but don’t go over the top.

There are many many ways to drive traffic to your site, these are just a few, some may work better than others and some may be of better quality than others, but having no traffic going to your site what so ever, you will not succeed with your site and not get any subscribers/opt-ins added to your list.
