Who doesn’t love receiving free online offers? Picking the right offers online can be a little tricky and you have to know which ones are legitimate. Today, let’s look at some different ways we can know that we are getting the real deal.

I love going online and researching real companies, that give you free offers that are valid. I first became aware of free offers from my ex-girlfriends and thanks to them, I’ve turned into an expert shopper, but it wasn’t always this way, I made a few mistakes along the way.

Like so many of you reading this article right now, I have received numerous e-mails with free offers and they were not good. I will admit, there were a few that were real, but unfortunately I was naive, until I learned what was going on.

Probably, the biggest online con game was for the Acai weight loss pills. People could get a free bottle of Acai weight loss pills with their free trial. Sadly, once the person started a free trial, they were not able to stop it and they were charged a large sum of money. Acai is actually a great herb, but these deceptive companies took full advantage of this amazing offer.

One thing you must realize is that every free online offer is not deceptive. As a matter of fact, there are some very well-known companies, who give free products and samples. I received a free small bottle of Downy fabric softener with no strings attached.

There are countless brand name companies that are fighting for your attention everyday and they do use surveys to better understand their market. As you look around the Internet you will see thousands of coupon sites and many of them are legit, but some are not.

There are a good number of great offers where you must sign up for the free trial, to receive anything and they are legitimate. Many large corporations offer potential customers free trial offers and their commercials can be seen on TV everyday. They realize the importance of getting a free product in your hand, so you can try it out and be a return buyer.

Most of the companies that I research are big corporations, who have been known to offer what are called freebies. The question I get asked the most is, “how do you know that the freebie is legitimate?” The best way to find out for sure is to research the company online and you will see whether or not they have any complaints.

Next, I would read the terms and conditions at the bottom of a website, before I sign up for anything. Most of the free trial offer websites that I have been on, have the fine print information located at the very bottom of their homepage. The terms and conditions, should tell you whether or not you have to complete surveys or offer a credit card number for the free trial. About 90 percent of the people that I talk to who had a bad experience, never read the terms and conditions at the bottom of the page!

The lesson from all of this is, to not be in a hurry and jump right into an offer and sign up immediately, but to take your time and actually read the fine print at the bottom of the page. I know that many of us have busy lives and take action to quickly on these online offers. The wisest thing you can ever do is, take the time to research the company who is offering a free product and you may have fewer headaches.
