The redirecting traffic I was doing dealt with using a service which sends traffic from expired domains that they've already purchased...this is NOT in violation. This is basic media buying which eBay recently sent out letters on. I found out the actual violation was having eBay's menu in an iframe. I thought I'd be fine on that because there were no "secret tracking devices" installed into that iframe. No problem because they're giving me another chance... ...more on that in future posts!

Sorry, no sympathy here.

You were redirecting traffic which is a clear violation. Because you did not get caught on CJ does not mean anything. It was in CJ’s interest not to catch you, so they would get paid as well.

This is why so many affiliates who were breaking the rules are now getting the boot. Being ignorant of the rules is no excuse.

I was dropped from the google program a few years ago and they never would tell me what I was doing wrong. There are a lot of affiliate programs to go after that can work. I am not too happy with the ebay new program as I have been sending people and no sales and I see lots of other people also saying the same thing. Good Luck

You’re right…blogging has now become the premier way to go for your affiliate marketing.

My main thing on this issue is as long as both parties are making money and there are no customer complaints whatsoever then there should be no need for all this.

There are many affiliate program which says like this. But it seems affiliate market is going down because search engine do not prefer those website. Only one way is there to promote your affiliate program and i.e is blog. Ebay has good affiliate program but it need more consistency in marketing strategies.
