The more I blog about list building and email marketing in general the more I realize that many in the online marketing industry just don’t get it yet. And of those who get it, they seem a be scared to go all out with it as if the subscriber is going to murder then for sending them an email.

You may already have a simple squeeze page downloaded somewhere, or maybe you've already got it online... So they settle for extremely low opt-in rates, meaning it takes TWICE as long to build their email list, and they don't make as much money as they should.

If you consistently work on providing the best content for your blog, you’re giving them the best reason to sign up for your email list. If you don’t prove to them that there’s something to look forward to in your blog, they will never think there’s any reason for them to join your email list.

The only solution is to get prospects into a sales funnel where you can strategically market your products and services over and over throughout a period of time without increasing the cost to do so..
