Making money with affiliate marketing has never been easier. There are thousands of info products out there that can teach you different methods of making money with it, in any niche and with any kind of product. There are just 5 simple steps that you need to go through to create your own website and start earning an income through niche marketing, selling other people’s products.

1. You need to register a domain

I recommend that you use Namecheap or Godaddy for domain registration, because they are the best known and largest companies of that kind online. They are very affordable and have a great reputation in the internet marketing community. Also, it is always best to register your domain outside of your hosting company.

2. Get your web hosting account

Web hosting is incredibly affordable these days and you can actually get a solid hosting plan for around $5. Personally, I always recommend using a companies like Hostgator or Bluehost. Also, it is very important to get a hosting account that includes Cpanel and installers like Fantastico. With a program like Fantastico, you can install a wordpress based plugin profit site in less than a minute.

3. Creating content for your site

After doing some initial research for the niche and getting your domain name and hosting, it’s time to fill your site with content. You can do the content creation on your own or you can outsource it. Elance is a great company to see about outsourcing content.

4. Sign up for affiliate programs

Visit sites like Clickbank, Paydotcom and Commission Junction to find solid affiliate programs that cover your niche and offer a high quality product with a good compensation plan. After doing this, you just have to plug your affiliate links into the content that you have previously created or you can write reviews of the products in question.

5. Start your site’s promotion

Decide on a promotion strategy, whether it be in a form of PPC campaign, a link building effort to get organic traffic through the search engines or maybe an article marketing campaign. Whatever you do, make sure you research the topic a bit and find the best solutions for your needs.

There could be an optional sixth step in this blueprint and that would be to get an autoresponder if you plan on building a list of subscribers that you can follow up with more than once. This is an extremely profitable solution but it naturally depends on the direction of your business. You can decide not to collect subscribers, but realize that you are leaving money on the table.

This is a simple blueprint and it shows how easy it is to get started with making money through affiliate marketing. You just need a simple plan, discipline and a little patience.
