Frustration has gotten the best of me as far as teaching internet marketing goes. Explaining the most basic principles of IM is like trying to teach quantum physics to neanderthal cavemen. And just what are those three basic principles?
Things like:
- Learning the most productive ways of generating website traffic…
- Actually getting traffic to your site or an affiliate site you’re signed up with and…
- Recycling that traffic…
What’s amazing is that some of the ones I’ve shared these things with were or are already involved in sales of some sort. Not necessarily legal but this makes no difference because business is business. Whether you have sold dope, delved in the art of pimpology, or sold Amway products door to door the methodology is still the same as it is for making money online:
You must learn where the people who want your particular offer congregate and how to approach them so that they will not only buy from you specifically,but continue to buy from you over and over again.
So-called internet gurus might argue that you really need the right product, but if you know how to constantly pull people/get traffic then it doesn’t matter, you can sell anything. Just look at the history of some of the weird items that have been sold on eBay. This proves there is definitely a market for ANY product as well as a product for ANY market. And just in case you don’t happen to see a product for a certain market, then even better and more profitable for you to come along and develop that needed product!
Now back to those who have had experiences with illegal sales. Don’t you think it’s about time you reinvested some of your profits into something that will consistently bring in legal sales? I mean c’mon…you already know the three basic principles above:
- You found out where the potential customers who want the product you have access to hang out…
- You “posted up” in that area to let them know you have what they want and…
- Finally through using the right “talk game” along with a unique presentation of your product, you got those customers to keep coming back begging for more…

Upon first reading this, I was wondering who you might be hanging around with. lol You talk about some interesting things here, but of course the one most of us have problems with is the one concerning traffic. My thought is that everyone really needs to learn that building traffic takes time, and at a certain point you have to think of a different way to get that traffic. That’s really the challenge; after all, just how many newsletters can one person sign up for anyway?

Yes, building traffic definitely takes time although I keep running across these sales pages saying how fast one can make money online. Actually, the last three bullet points show what must be done to get traffic if one would only follow it :rolleyes:
As for who I might have been hanging around with: I seriously couldn’t help but be around certain elements because of where I grew up at. Those where I’m from who may have been involved in questionable businesses -for the most part- got into that because of their way below economic status…now that’s NOT an excuse,but I did understand.
My main thing was to show them a way to get out of the game using tactics they already possessed.

I think if you’ve found your traffic building strategy that works and giving you a consistent amount of traffic, that’s an incredible good thing. Getting sales should be not a problem once this happens.

Good point. It’s the traffic which is key, and that’s where quite a lot of the time and effort will probably be focused. The product can be tweaked and modified but without traffic, no customers.

I have been getting great traffic, but having issues monetizing it.
Raises question of Quality vs. Quantity of incoming traffic to offer the right promotions OR
having enough funnels of interest to guide non-segmented traffic into a conversion path.

We all hear what we need to hear when we are ready to hear it! I know I have heard some things many times …. one day it clicks, because I am ready to learn … or use ..to learn .. or use … it. But it DOES seem like we are teaching to those who cannot or will not hear sometimes ….
Which is why the “next” guru” will always have a ready audience!

Interesting point…and I’ll add to that by saying the “next guru” will have an audience also because more and more ppl are flocking to the internet as a means of making money especially considering how the economy is getting.
These three principles have stood the test of time and will always remain the keys to online success.
